McDonagh traded to New York

Wisconsin tri-captain and junior defenseman Ryan McDonagh has been traded to the New York Rangers. McDonagh was part of a six-player deal between the Montreal Canadians and the Rangers on Tuesday.

Selected No. 12 overall by Montreal in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, McDonagh was dealt along with Chris Higgins, Pavel Valentenko and the rights to Doug Janik for Scott Gomez, Tom Pyatt and Mike Busto.Read More
